The San Gabriel Mountains Interpretive Association is committed to:
- Conservaton and Education
- Providing U.S. Forest Service Visitor Centers with books, maps, and other interpretive materials
- Planning educational events and stewardship projects that teach others about our land and natural resources
- Promoting a shift in attitudes that helps people realize that public land is our land
- Having a positive impact on the forest, natural resources and people
